Grossmont 49, Antelope Valley 13--Bryan Halsey completed 20 of 26 passes for 229 yards and four touchdowns for host Grossmont.
Monte Gutowski, who replaced starter Justin Holtfreter in the second quarter, completed four of 14 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown for Antelope Valley.
Gutowski connected with Chad York on a 12-yard touchdown in the third quarter that cut Grossmont’s lead to 28-7.
