Police are searching for a man in connection with a carjacking Monday at a Mobil gas station.

There were no injuries in the 3:19 p.m. incident in the 11000 block of Brookhurst Street.

The gas station manager was backing his 1993 Toyota Camry from a parking stall when a man with a handgun ordered the manager from the car, police said.

The victim complied, and the thief drove off with the gas station’s earnings, which the manager had in the car to take to deposit, police said. Officials declined to disclose the amount.
