The iguana especially likes the new place
Mark and Linda Tisdail found their home on the Internet.
“It was kind of a fluke, but we found it on the Web,” Linda said.
They listed their old house in Laguna Beach, sold it and moved--all in just under a month.
Their new 3,000-square-foot, five-bedroom home in San Juan Capistrano includes a library and family room. It has become home not only to the couple and their two teenagers, but to the family’s collection of pets: three dogs, two cats and an iguana.
The iguana has especially enjoyed the move into the home, purchased for just shy of $340,000.
“He loves it,” Linda said. “He has sunlight all day long now.”
Other than removing ivy and touching up the paint, the Tisdails don’t plan on renovating the 25-year old home. But they do expect to add a pool and a patio.
“You can’t find a house this big in Laguna Beach for under a million,” Linda said. “It was a real nice change.”
