Church Fire Causes $95,000 in Damage
NORTH HOLLYWOOD —
Flames raced through a North Hollywood church early Tuesday, causing $95,000 worth of damage to a kitchen and two classrooms, but no injuries, a Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman said.
The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 11960 Victory Blvd., according to LAFD spokesman Jim Wells.
Firefighters took 18 minutes to knock down the blaze, which was confined to the kitchen and classrooms. Wells said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
