Anaheim Hills’ Run Is Stopped
Anaheim Hills West’s bid for a berth in the Little League World Series came to an end Tuesday in a 4-3 loss to Sacramento at the Western Regional in San Bernardino.
Elias Garcia’s three-run homer in the fifth inning proved to be the difference as Sacramento took a 4-0 lead.
Anaheim Hills, which plays Oregon today at 5 p.m. for third place, rallied in the bottom of the inning when John Grimm hit a two-run homer. Joe Dickerson had an RBI single in the sixth for Anaheim Hills’ last run.
