A woman suffered a head injury in a traffic accident Wednesday when the car she was driving collided with another vehicle and then rolled over, the Sheriff’s Department said.
The accident, in the city’s main intersection, caused a lunch hour traffic jam, according to the Sheriff’s Department. At 11:48 a.m. a Geo Tracker traveling northbound on Wanda Road collided with a Chrysler Cirrus moving east on Katella Avenue, causing the Geo Tracker to roll over. The driver was rushed to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana and reported to be in critical condition.
The driver of the Chrysler was not seriously harmed.
