In the Aug. 17 paper, the Associated Press astonishingly terms Atlanta Brave shortstop Jose Hernandez “an unlikely offensive star.”
Hernandez was hitting .276, with 17 homers and 52 RBIs. Mo Vaughn, on the other hand, was hitting .265 with 18 homers and 67 RBIs. I wonder how unlikely the AP thinks Mo is.
