No. 6 Capistrano Valley 8, Los Alamitos 4--Cori Ehrlich scored three goals to lead visiting Capistrano Valley (1-1). Sisters Amber and Aimee Stachowski accounted for the other five Cougar goals, three by Amber and two for Aimee.
No. 7 El Dorado 5, University 2--Junior Heather Stamper scored three goals and goalkeeper Courtney Lee made 12 saves to lead host El Dorado (5-1).
El Modena 5, Edison 4--Gaby Garcia, who had three steals, scored the winner in the third quarter. Kristin Taylor had three goals to lead the Vanguards (2-1).
Long Beach Wilson 11, No. 3 Foothill 7--Cassie Azevedo had a game-high four goals to lead the Bruins. Freshman Gabby Dominque had three goals for Foothill (1-1).
No. 8 Rosary 9, Laguna Beach 8--Natalie Golda scored six goals and Meghan Monahan scored three, including the winner with 1:09 left in the game, to win it for Rosary (5-1.
Savanna 16, Santa Ana 9--Megan Anderson scored six goals and Monica Lorey had four for visiting Savanna (1-2). Edie Bradfield scored six goals for Santa Ana.
Sunny Hills 9, Ocean View 1--Shelna Jun scored four goals and goalkeeper Emily Stein had nine saves and seven steals for host Sunny Hills (1-0).
Woodbridge 6, Santa Ana Valley 5--Diana Nguyen scored with 1:21 left in the game to win it for visiting Woodbridge (3-3). Kara Danduran and Rochelle Gauthier each scored two goals.
