Tonight’s City Council meeting agenda includes another step toward fulfilling the city’s Water Master Plan. The item for discussion will be the purchase of 2.6 acres to support a water-storage facility. The land is at the southeast corner of Hazard and Hoover streets. The overall plan includes replacing the 10 million gallons lost last year in a water tank rupture.
