Saugus 78, Palmdale 74--Tim Tampus scored 15 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter, and the Centurions blew an 11-point halftime lead before rallying in the final eight minutes of a quarterfinal game.

Mike Grisanti added 17 points for Saugus (8-5).

Eric Brown scored 37 points for Palmdale (4-8).

Glendale 66, Cleveland 63--Tomik Iranosian’s three-point play with three seconds remaining lifted the Dynamiters in a consolation game.

Grant Pledger and Quentin Harvey each scored 10 points for Cleveland (7-6), ranked No. 5 in the region by The Times.

Gilbert Yousefian scored 25 points for Glendale (6-6).

Murphy 71, Alemany 64--Byron Joseph scored 16 points and Lanard Heath added 14 for the Indians (4-7) in a consolation bracket loss.

In other tournaments:

Simi Valley 78, San Diego St. Augustine 66--Dustin Villepigue, Branduinn Fullove and Brett Michel combined for 67 points and 28 rebounds for the Pioneers in a consolation game of the Nike Prep Classic tournament at Encinitas Torrey Pines High.

Villepigue, a 6-foot-9 junior center, had 24 points and 13 rebounds while hitting 11 of 16 shots for Simi Valley (10-1), which lost to defending Southern Section Division I-A champion Mater Dei, 57-53, in the first round Monday.

“We bounced back from 1/8Monday 3/8 night,” Coach Christian Aurand said. “We didn’t shoot very well 1/8Monday 3/8 night.”

The Pioneers made 31 of 59 shots against St. Augustine after a 22-for-51 performance against Mater Dei.

Fullove had 22 points and seven rebounds and Michel had 21 points and eight rebounds for the Pioneers, the No. 1-ranked team in the region by The Times.

Harvard-Westlake 84, Long Beach Cabrillo 69--Eric Geffner had 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Wolverines (9-3) in a consolation victory of the Best in the West tournament at Long Beach.

Harvard-Westlake then beat Hanford, 81-64, when Austin Scott scored 18 points and Russell Lakey added 15.

North Hollywood 70, L.A. University 55--Ken Hauser scored 20 points and Dominic Johnson added 14 for the No. 2-ranked Huskies in a second-round victory at the Eagle Rock tournament.

Guz Ruiz and Nathan Stern each had 12 points for North Hollywood (10-2), which plays Bell-Jeff in a semifinal at 6:30 tonight.

The Huskies broke open the game by holding University to six points in the second quarter to build a 35-18 halftime lead.

St. Bonaventure 58, Paraclete 35--Michael Perez sank six three-point shots and scored 23 points for the Seraphs in a L.A. Baptist tournament semifinal victory.

Chris Saunders added 14 points for St. Bonaventure (9-1).

Westlake 62, Hueneme 59--The Warriors rallied from a three-point halftime deficit with a 13-2 run to open the third quarter, then sank six of eight free throws down the stretch to win a pool-play game at the Westlake tournament.

Tyler Adamczyk scored 19 points for the Warriors (9-3).

Anthony Camper had 19 points for the Vikings (7-4).

Inglewood 77, Buena 62--Robby Blanks made six three-pointers and finished with 23 points but the Bulldogs (3-10) lost during pool play in the Ventura tournament.

Notre Dame 52, La Canada 49--Cody Pearson scored the final 12 points for the Knights, who blew a seven-point halftime lead and rallied to win a quarterfinal game at the La Salle tournament.

Pearson finished with 18 points for Notre Dame (8-3).
