Fullerton, Sophomore

Basketball

Sudario, a transfer from Cal State Fullerton, took her place in the Hornet record book last week. She had 10 steals and 10 points as Fullerton beat Riverside, 84-62. She had three more steals to set the college’s single-season record at 125 as the Hornets beat Orange Coast, 52-45.

Sharee Brown

* Cypress, freshman. She scored 33 points and got 17 rebounds as Cypress beat Riverside, 82-81.

David Castleton

Basketball

Castleton, from Mater Dei High, suffered a broken collarbone while playing wide receiver for the OCC football team and is finally starting to play well on the basketball court. He had 14 points as the Pirates upset Santa Ana, 83-72, and added 12 more in a 70-64 victory over Fullerton.

Baseball

Jason Marian

* Saddleback, sophomore. He was 13 for 17, including two home runs and nine RBIs, as the Gauchos won four times.
