Pacific 75, Cal State Fullerton 59--The Tigers, normally one of the Big West’s best three-point shooting teams, used a strong inside game to defeat the Titans before 3,863 in Stockton.
The victory clinched a spot in the postseason playoffs for Pacific (13-10, 8-5). It was the 10th defeat for Fullerton in 12 games on the road and their 10th consecutive loss in the Spanos Center.
The Titans (12-11, 6-7) remained in fourth place in the Western Division, a game ahead of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Four teams from the West advance to the postseason tournament.
Pacific was led by forward Mike Preston, who had 17 points.
Guard Mark Murphy led the Titans with 15 points.
