Eagles Fall in Baseball

Concordia’s baseball team stranded five runners in the last three innings and lost, 6-5, to Albertson College of Caldwell, Idaho, Monday at Concordia. The Eagles left 11 on base in all.
Jason Radwan had three hits, including a two-run triple in the first, and helped the Eagles (8-8-1) take a 4-2 lead after three innings against the defending NAIA national champions.
But James Atwood and Nicholas Leswick hit home runs for Albertson (5-4) off losing pitcher Matt Canada (1-1) and Albertson rallied to take a 6-4 lead after 4 1/2 innings.
At the Point Loma Invitational golf tournament in Chula Vista:
Chapman places 10th--The Panthers finished 10th for the 36-hole tournament at Eastlake Country Club. Sean St. Clair tied for seventh, shooting two-over 146 (75-71) for Chapman.
Loyola Marymount freshman Will Luciano, formerly of Servite High, shot par 144 (73-71) to finish tied for second place, one stroke behind medalist Keshav Misra of San Diego (71-72).
