Two Pit Bulls Impounded Over Attacks

Los Angeles animal services officers impounded two pit bulls Thursday believed to have attacked two people and another dog Monday night.

Officers with animal services’ special enforcement unit said they took the dogs into custody after receiving a tip that the animals’ owners lived in the 15000 block of Rinaldi Street.

The dogs were taken to the agency’s shelter in Chatsworth pending an investigation that could result in the dogs being euthanized, authorities said.

The animals appear to match witnesses’ descriptions of the two dogs that attacked a man, a woman and another dog Monday.
