The Ducks, who have won nine in a row, are half a game ahead of UCLA in the Pac-10. . . . At the Southeastern Conference tournament quarterfinals at Chattanooga, Tenn., No. 17 Louisiana State (20-7) was upset by Kentucky, 81-71, as Shantia Owens and Laura Meadows had 20 points each for the Wildcats (20-9). . . . In the other SEC quarterfinals, No. 24 Alabama (19-9) got 18 points (all on three-point shots) from Nicole Carruth in a 76-72 victory over No. 23 Auburn (19-8). . . . Coco Miller scored 15 points and Kelly Miller added 14 as No. 14 Georgia (22-5) won, 72-66, over Mississippi State (17-10). . . .
