Long Beach will be the second-seeded Western Division team in the Big West tournament. Long Beach (12-14, 9-7) won a tiebreaker with Pacific (14-12, 9-7) and will play Idaho in the first round Thursday night.
Long Beach made 58.3% of its shots and sophomore guard Ramel Lloyd led all five starters in double figures with 22 points.
