Hart 2, Burbank 1--Jose Ochoa scored the winning goal, rallying the Indians (7-1-4) from a 1-0 halftime deficit in a Foothill League opener at Hart.

Hueneme 5, Oxnard 1--Evaristo Leon scored three goals and the Vikings (8-5-2, 2-2) ran away with a Pacific View League game at Hueneme.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

Canyon 2, Burroughs 1--Jaime Rendich scored the game-winning goal on her own rebound in the 61st minute after assisting Vicky Duffy’s tying goal one minute earlier for the Cowboys (7-2, 1-0) in a Foothill League opener at Burroughs.

Lisa Palermo scored her sixth goal in the 25th minute to give the Indians (5-7, 0-1) a 1-0 lead.

Hart 3, Burbank 0--Erin Misaki scored her 13th goal and had an assist, and the Indians (11-3-1) overcame a scoreless first half to coast in a Foothill League opener at Burbank.

Camarillo 3, Rio Mesa 0--Bonnie Bornhauser scored a goal in the third minute to help the Scorpions (8-3, 3-0) to their fourth consecutive victory in a Pacific View League game.
