Blessed with an NFL-sized body. Holt worked hard to develop quick feet and did not allow a sack. Is expected to be among the county’s most heavily recruited players next season.

Somewhat of an unknown before the season, he rushed for 1,353 yards and 15 touchdowns for a team that won only one game.

A kicker, receiver and defensive back. Caught 13 passes for 305 yards and four touchdowns, converted 29 of 35 extra points, and was five of nine on field goals. Intercepted three passes.

Played four positions on defense, helping a team expected to finish near the bottom of the Pacific View League to an 8-4 record and to the quarterfinals of the Southern Section Division IV playoffs.

Key player in Ventura’s first-round playoff upset of top-seeded Newbury Park. Continues family tradition of linebackers. His brother, Joe, was All-County in 1996-’97.

Intercepted two passes and was a punishing hitter at safety. At fullback, rushed for 883 yards. Scored 10 touchdowns and four two-point conversions.
