In other nonleague girls’ water polo:

No. 7 Foothill 9, No. 10 Fountain Valley 4--Janelle Coberly had six steals and scored three goals, two to help forge a 4-3 lead going into the fourth quarter, before Foothill (10-6) pulled away. Jackie Pirro scored both of her goals in the fourth quarter and Teresa Gorbett also finished with two goals.

In Century League boys’ soccer:

Foothill 1, El Modena 0--Jimmy Grigas scored in the 42nd minute off an assist from Omar Rodriguez and Nick Adams made two saves for Foothill (12-6-2, 5-1).

In the Empire League:

Cypress 3, Century 2--Adam Dominguez, Matt Scherer and Farand Kusnadi scored second-half goals as Cypress rallied from a 2-0 halftime deficit. Kusnadi scored with two minutes left in the game to lift Cypress (9-11, 3-4).

Kennedy 1, Loara 0--David Kelemen scored his 10th goal of the season in the 20th minute after a cross from Brad Stear. Stephen Gray made 11 saves for his sixth shutout and second in a row.

Luis Damian’s shot hit the post in the 70th minute for Loara (8-9-2, 3-4).

In the Golden West League:

No. 3 Santa Ana 2, Tustin 1--Santa Ana’s Carlos Nava scored on a penalty kick in the 60th minute and Omar Tajonar scored in the 70th minute to give the visiting Saints (12-4-4, 5-1-1) a 2-0 lead.

No. 2 Servite 1, Ocean View 0--Matt Terry scored his 47th career goal and 18th this season to lift Servite (18-4-3, 5-1-1). The goal, off a pass from Brian Donnelly in the 58th minute, was Terry’s fifth game-winning goal in league. James Towers made five saves for his eighth shutout for the Friars, who have 10 this season. Clay Monroe made 10 saves for Ocean View.

In the Orange League:

Valencia 2, Western 1--Dan Young scored the game-winner on a header in the 68th minute for the Tigers (4-8-4, 1-2-3). Jorge Sandoval scored in the 22nd minute for Western.

In the Sea View League:

El Toro 3, Corona del Mar 0--Josh Saunders recorded his sixth shutout of the season, and visiting El Toro (6-8-4, 2-2-2) got goals from Shaun Blackholly, John Miller and Julian Gaitan.

No. 1 Woodbridge 3, Santa Margarita 0--Roy Chingirian, Kevin Friedland and Ashkahn Moayed scored goals for Woodbridge (17-1-1, 5-0-1) and Doug Allan made nine saves for his 12th shutout of the season.

In the South Coast League:

No. 7 Trabuco Hills 1, Mater Dei 0--Kevin Biggs scored off a pass from Mark Jelic with 10 minutes remaining to lift visiting Trabuco Hills (13-6-4, 4-1-2).

Mater Dei is 2-3-2 in league.

In the Sunset League:

No. 6 Esperanza 2, Los Alamitos 1--Shaun Dohrman scored six minutes into the game for the Aztecs (17-2-3, 4-1-1) and Matt McNally scored late in the first half.

Blasi Ritacco scored in the second half for Los Alamitos (3-2 in league).

Huntington Beach 2, No. 9 Fountain Valley 1 (OT)--Nick Schwab scored off Drew McAthy’s rebound two minutes into overtime to lift Huntington Beach, which beat a ranked team for the third time this season. McAthy scored with five minutes left in regulation to tie the score for the Oilers (11-6-2, 4-1), who have given up only two goals in league play.
