Frid, Harper, Young, Webb Are Selected Players of the Year

J.P. Frid, Ty Harper and Brett Young were named Southern Section baseball players of the year.

Frid, from El Dorado High, led the Golden Hawks to the Division III title. Calvary Chapel’s Young helped the Eagles win the Division V title.

Harper, of Division IV champion Corona del Mar, shared player of the year honors with Alberto Concepcion of El Segundo.

Webb led the Mariners to the Division III title, their third in a row.
