ANAHEIM
The City Council recently renewed funding for the Park Ranger Program, part of its ongoing efforts to reduce vandalism on public properties. Park rangers are assigned to patrol schools in the Centralia, Magnolia and Anaheim City school districts to deter graffiti and other destruction of property. Rangers will also monitor city parks near schools. Under the contract, participating school districts will reimburse the city up to $21,052 annually for the service.
