Schilling to Miss Start

Philadelphia Phillie ace Curt Schilling will miss his scheduled start today with mild biceps tendinitis. Schilling, who started for the National League in the All-Star game, has felt stiffness in his right biceps while warming up before his last two starts. He is scheduled to skip just one start and pitch again next Tuesday in Florida against the Marlins. . . . Diamondback outfielder David Dellucci underwent surgery to repair a damaged bone in his left wrist. . . . Padre catcher Jim Leyritz, sidelined since June 23 with a broken left hand, began a rehabilitation assignment at class-A Rancho Cucamonga.
