Motorcyclist Dies After Colliding With Van

A 30-year-old man was killed Thursday morning when his motorcycle collided with a van in the 9800 block of Foothill Boulevard, police said.

The biker was traveling east when he crossed over the double yellow line. His bike veered into a westbound lane where he was struck by a 1999 Ford van, Los Angeles Police Officer Dan Hudson said.

The biker died at the scene. His name was not released pending notification of his relatives, Hudson said.

The van's driver was not injured, Hudson said.
