In Division II:

Moreno Valley 7, Woodbridge 2--Wendy Allen (12-0) struck out 12 for host Moreno Valley (23-8), which scored five runs in the fifth inning on two hits, three walks, and a hit batter to take a 7-1 lead. Erica Greenberg had an RBI in the fourth inning and Natasha Watley had one in the seventh for Woodbridge (23-10).

In Division III:

Brea Olinda 1, La Puente Bishop Amat 0--Joanna Bostick drove in Christine Knobbe in the fifth inning for the Wildcats (22-7-1). Tiffany Whitton (11-4) struck out nine and walked three. Brea Olinda (22-7-1) will play Pacifica in the final, either Friday or Saturday at Mayfair Park.

Pacifica 1, Newbury Park 0 (10)--Tiffany Wallace singled over the right fielder’s head to drive in Toria Auelua as Pacifica (23-8) continued its drive for a third consecutive title. Auelua started the inning with a double. Winner Jessica Soto (22-7) pitched a five-hitter. Katie Stokx (16-5) lost. Newbury Park finished 24-8.

In Division VI:

Camarillo Cornerstone Christian 2, Capistrano Valley Christian 1--Third-seeded Cornerstone Christian (21-6) scored twice in the fifth inning on a walk, a triple by Shannon Brown, and a dropped third strike by CVC catcher Cari Fouse.

Lauren Capriotti pitched a four-hitter with 13 strikeouts, two walks and a hit batter for Capistrano Valley Christian (18-7), which scored on Morgan Grani’s triple and Jill Jeranko’s single.

The Eagles, who stranded two runners in the sixth inning, went down in the seventh with the tying run at third base.
