Broadway’s Tony Awards, the ALMA Awards, a documentary on Diego Rivera and a marathon of Bugs Bunny cartoons are among the offerings this weekend on the small screen.

Benjamin Bratt, Jimmy Smits, Rita Moreno and Jennifer Lopez are among the performers accepting American Latino Media Arts statuettes on “The 1999 ALMA Awards” tonight at 8 on ABC.

“Rivera in America,” tonight at 8 on KCET, chronicles the life of painter Diego Rivera. Included are interviews with friends, colleagues and critics.

The Cartoon Network’s “June Bugs” marathon, Friday at 9 p.m., features 48 hours of classic Bugs Bunny cartoons, including “What’s Opera, Doc?” It’s best to watch while eating carrots.

Broadway honors its own on “The 53rd Annual Tony Awards” Sunday at 9 p.m. on CBS. PBS’ “Broadway 99: Launching the Tonys,” at 8 p.m. on KCET, will include the presentation of 10 awards.

Series

The syndicated sci-fi series “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” signs off in a two-hour finale Saturday at 8 p.m. on KCOP.

Huell Howser and cameraman Luis Fuerte visit the Goat Canyon Trestle in San Diego County on “California’s Gold” Sunday at 7:30 p.m. on KCET.

Sarah Jessica Parker returns in 18 episodes of HBO’s adult comedy series, “Sex and the City,” Sunday at 9 p.m. Following at 9:30 p.m. is the fourth-season premiere of Robert Wuhl’s sports comedy, “Arli$$.”

Movies

Paul Sorvino, who starred in the original Broadway production in 1972, stars in and makes his directorial debut with Showtime’s new adaptation of Jason Miller’s “That Championship Season” Sunday at 8 p.m.
