The Huntington Beach Concert Band will perform patriotic and show tunes Thursday at the kickoff of the city’s annual Summer Concert Series at the Civic Center’s Sunken Gardens. The series consists of 12 free concerts every Thursday through Sept. 9, with a variety of music, including bagpipes, classical and rock ‘n’ roll.
