The High Desert Mavericks collected 14 hits and defeated Lancaster, 9-3, in a California League game Tuesday night at the Hangar.
High Desert (19-26) scored four runs, one earned, in the first two innings against Joe Victery (1-4). Cirilo Cruz had three hits for the JetHawks (16-30).
