Camarillo 2, Diamond Bar 0--Melissa Ziese hit a run-scoring double, Nicki Holt added a run-scoring single and the Scorpions (21-6) won at No. 3-seeded Diamond Bar.
Kathryn Nevard pitched a two-hitter with six strikeouts for Camarillo, which will face Mater Dei in a quarterfinal on Thursday.
Mater Dei 1, Crescenta Valley 0--Christina Clark doubled with two out in the 12th and scored on a throwing error by shortstop Erica Fernandez at Mater Dei.
Marissa Young (13-2) struck out 17 and walked four in a two-hitter for Mater Dei (26-4).
Meredith Cervenka pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks for Crescenta Valley (21-6), which stranded five runners.
Canyon Springs 2, Highland 0--Nichole Rawson (18-10) pitched a one-hitter and struck out four for the Bulldogs (19-11) but lost on two unearned runs in the first at Canyon Springs.
DIVISION II
Hart 1, Whittier California 0--Amanda Fortune (11-2-1) pitched a perfect game and struck out 11 for the Indians (23-5-1) at Newhall Park.
Casey Pickard doubled to drive in Jocelyn Evans with one out in the fourth.
Saugus 3, La Serna 0--Kelly Cornelison hit a bases-loaded triple in the sixth at Saugus.
Christina Gillman (8-3) of Saugus (19-9-1) pitched five innings of no-hit relief.
La Palma Kennedy 5, Hueneme 0--Crystal Eubanks (9-6) pitched a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk for Kennedy (18-9) at Hueneme (14-12).
DIVISION III
Newbury Park 3, Dos Pueblos 1--Katie Stokx (15-4) pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts, and the Panthers (23-7) broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth on Kamala Kiffe’s sacrifice fly at Dos Pueblos.
Placentia Valencia 2, Calabasas 1--Kim Miller singled, stole second and scored on Annie Dedic’s single in the 11th to break a 1-1 tie at Valencia.
Michelle Whiteman (16-8) struck out 14 to earn her second playoff victory for the Tigers (20-11), who will play Newbury Park in a quarterfinal Thursday.
Calabasas finished 16-9-1.
DIVISION IV
Harvard-Westlake 1, Lompoc 0--Kim Koral singled, stole second, took third on a wild pitch and scored on Elana Ferrero’s single in the sixth at Valley College.
Ferrero (11-7) pitched a three-hitter, struck out seven and walked one for the Wolverines (16-15).
Chaminade 5, San Marino 0--Maureen LeCocq pitched a three-hitter and struck out 16 for Chaminade (22-6-1) at San Marino.
Ridgecrest Burroughs 2, Notre Dame 1--Amanda De La Cerda pitched a five-hitter with nine strikeouts but the Knights (20-9) were beaten at Notre Dame.
DIVISION V
L.A. Baptist 4, Santa Maria St. Joseph 3--Nikki Girard (11-6) pitched a five-hitter and hit two run-scoring singles to help the Knights (13-11) upset the top-seeded team at L.A. Baptist.
