WEDNESDAY VS. PHILADELPHIA

* Starting time: 7:30 p.m.

* Television: Fox Sports West 2, ESPN 2

* Radio: XTRA (690 AM)

* Key matchups: The top lines. Who doesn’t want to see Mark Recchi, Eric Lindros and John LeClair battle it out with Teemu Selanne and Paul Kariya?

* Last year’s series: The teams split two games.

* About Philadelphia: The concern in Philadelphia is again Lindros’ health. He has missed the last two games with a viral infection but was expected to travel with the team. Recchi has filled that void and leads the NHL with 20 points. The Flyers started 0-5-1 but have won six of their last seven games.

SUNDAY VS. EDMONTON

* Starting time: 5 p.m.

* Television: KCAL (Channel 9)

* Radio: XTRA (690 AM)

* Key matchups: Special teams. The Ducks had the top power play in the league last season, but have only six goals in 42 tries this season.

* Last year’s series: Edmonton won three of five games.

* About Edmonton: The Oilers and right wing Bill Guerin are apparently close to a deal. Reports are the two sides are no more than $200,000-$300,000 apart, with a signing bonus still left to negotiate. Guerin had career highs with 30 goals and 64 points last season. Rem Murray returned after missing seven games with a separated shoulder and scored the game-winning goal in a 4-2 victory over Nashville Sunday.
