Bishop Diego 17, Fillmore 8--Aaron Sanchez rushed for 69 yards in 13 carries and one touchdown for the Cardinals in a Tri-Valley League game at Fillmore. Sanchez scored on a 13-yard sweep with 2:20 remaining for the game’s final margin.

Ted Chewning rushed for 134 yards in 26 carries, and scored Fillmore’s only touchdown on a one-yard run.

Bishop Diego (3-6-1, 1-3) limited the Flashes (3-7, 0-4) to 36 yards passing.

Cory Sanchez scored the game’s first touchdown when he and Matt Capritto connected on a 47-yard pass play. Sanchez finished with six catches for 79 yards.

Matt Capritto completed six of 12 passes for 79 yards, with one touchdown and two interceptions. Cory Sanchez caught all of his passes. Capritto also rushed six times for 44 yards.
