The Indians took a 7-0 lead less than one minute into the game when quarterback Casey Clausen connected with Scott for a 42-yard touchdown pass.

Six minutes later, the Aztecs tied the score at 7-7 when Louie Mares capped a 78-yard drive by running three yards for a touchdown.

Benny Mastropaolo kicked a 25-yard field goal to give the Aztecs a 10-7 lead with 9:35 remaining in the first half.

Less than a minute later, Clausen again connected with Scott for a touchdown, this time for 34 yards.

“We used De’Andre as a receiver tonight more than we have in the past, and it was a nice surprise to see him do so well,” Bonds said.

Scott added another touchdown before the half on a 52-yard run, giving Alemany a 21-10 lead.
