The initial filing deadline for next year’s city elections for the 2nd and 4th District council seats and the city clerk position is 6 p.m. Dec. 10. Should the incumbents not file, the deadline will move to Dec. 15. Candidates must have a signature list of 20 to 30 registered voters residing in Seal Beach. Elections will be held March 7.
