Villa Esperanza Thrift Shop Plans Sale

* The Villa Esperanza Hope Chest thrift shop will hold a summer clearance sale Wednesday through Oct. 16 at 2410 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Grammy-Winning Singer to Perform

* Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Andrae Crouch will be featured in a concert benefiting City Impact at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Calvary Community Church, 5495 Via Rocas, Westlake Village. Crouch will be joined by the 100-Voice Gospel Choir, his sister Sandra Crouch, and the South Coast Fellowship’s Children’s Choir of Ventura. Assistance Program Organizing Soup Sale

* Help of Ojai’s community assistance program will hold a benefit soup sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chaparral School auditorium, 414 E. Ojai Ave., Ojai. Comedian to Give Benefit Performance

Theater Center to Host a ‘Ghost Walk’

* The Santa Paula Theater Center will host its fifth annual Ghost Walk on Oct. 16-17, 22-24 and 29-31 beginning and ending at The Mill, 926 Railroad Ave., Santa Paula. Tours through historic downtown will leave every 15 minutes between 6:30 and 9 p.m. Ghost stories will be told along the walk.
