The city is hosting its 10th annual Red Ribbon Week, Oct. 23 to 31, to raise awareness of alcohol and drug abuse. The event is part of a national educational program, reaching out to teenagers and adults at risk, Councilwoman Lauree Aragona said.
During Red Ribbon Week, officers from the Police Department will visit the city’s elementary schools to teach students about drugs.
