Pasadena 20, Glendale 2--The Dynamiters (2-6, 0-3) were held to 112 yards and were eliminated from playoff contention in a Pacific League game at Glendale.
Glendale punted six times and turned the ball over on its other three possessions.
The Dynamiters’ only score came on a safety in the second quarter when a high snap sailed over the head of punter Robert Reagh of Pasadena (3-5, 2-1), who fell on the ball in the end zone.
Daniel Nembhard rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown in 17 carries for the Bulldogs, who scored all their points in the third quarter. Derrick Andrews returned a punt 85 yards for Pasadena’s last score.
George Alcarez’s 17-yard interception return gave the Dynamiters a first down at the Pasadena four-yard line late in the first quarter, but quarterback Armen Dembekjian had a pass intercepted three plays later.
Dembekjian completed seven of 16 passes for 42 yards.
Michael Valle rushed 11 times for 45 yards for Glendale.
