OUTLOOK

Warfield started last season at tailback but was hurt early, and King came on and gained 966 yards. Ogas is as impressed with King’s work ethic as he is with his ability to run the ball. The offensive line is solid and benefited greatly when Wilford (Tustin High) left UCLA because of academic troubles. “He took the line from being good to very good,” Ogas said. Brown, Barker and Alvarado are also back on the offensive line. Wagner (Esperanza High) won the starting job at quarterback by a slim margin over Simmons, a transfer from Orange Coast. Farley came to the Dons from New Mexico State and Romero is from San Jose State.
