Online Chats With Famous Authors
Book lovers can participate in real-time conversations with some of their favorite authors through Barnes & Noble’s online chat sessions at https://www.barnesandnoble.com. Among those coming up are:
* Today, 4 p.m.: Susan Faludi, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of “Backlash,” explores what she calls the collapse of traditional masculinity in “Stiffed.”
* Tonight, 6: Humor writer and another Pulitzer winner Dave Barry will talk about his fiction debut, “Big Trouble,” a novel of love and mayhem in south Florida.
* Thursday, 2 p.m.: Presidential hopeful John McCain will discuss “Faith of My Fathers,” the story of his father and grandfather, both four-star admirals in the U.S. Navy.
* Monday, 4 p.m.: Mystery writer Martha Grimes returns with a Richard Jury tale of two murders in “The Lamorna Wink.”
