Rick Mirer’s touchdown pass for the Jets in a 27-20 loss to the Redskins was his first since Dec. 15, 1996, while with Seattle. . . . Carolina tight end Wesley Walls had one reception, giving him 177 with the Panthers and moving him past Mark Carrier atop the team’s list of career receptions leaders. . . .
