The body of an unidentified man was found Sunday on a railroad right of way east of the Orange Freeway in Brea, police said.
Police found the body lying in the dirt after they were called by someone who saw it about 1:30 p.m., Lt. Bill Hutchinson said. Police said the man, who appeared to be about 45 years old, had no identification.
The coroner's office is investigating the cause of death.
Police said there were no visible signs of trauma to the body.
The body was found in a right of way where railroad tracks had been taken out. The area is about half a mile north of the Brea Mall.
