Man Found Shot to Death on Sidewalk

A man was found early Friday morning shot dead and sprawled on a North Hills sidewalk, police said.
Residents heard gunfire and called police to the 15200 block of Gresham Street just after 3 a.m., said Det. Brad Cochran of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division.
Police declined to release the man’s name, pending notification of his family.
Cochran said investigators do not know what motivated the killing. He asked anyone with information to call detectives at (818) 756-8291 or (818) 756-8285 after hours.
