CYPRESS

The Cypress College Flying Team won several awards at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate Flying Assn.’s annual competition recently. The team’s awards include the short field precision landing, flight simulator event, message drop event, preflight event and aircraft recognition event. The Aviation Department has been a part of Cypress College since 1967 and offers ground instruction for the private pilot certificate.
