In the Adidas tournament:

El Toro 10, San Diego Morse 6--Grant Plumley hit his fifth home run of the season in El Toro’s consolation victory in Las Vegas. Plumley was three for three with three runs scored.

In the Coachella Valley Tournament:

Ocean View 10, Blythe Palo Verde Valley 7 (6, time)--Tyler Kreil had three hits and scored the winning run from third on a single by Mike Harris as part of a nine-run sixth inning for Ocean View (8-9-2) in the second-round game. The Sea Hawks used four hits, five walks, one hit batter and one Palo Verde Valley error to put together their late-inning outburst.

In the Pride of the Coast Tournament:

San Clemente 10, Simi Valley Royal 4--Miles Farquhar got the complete-game victory, giving up two earned runs and striking out five, for San Clemente (7-11) in the quarterfinal game.

Chase Stroupe and Billy Pinney each had three hits and two RBIs and Ryan Tellam hit a home run for the Tritons, who face Corona Del Mar at 2 p.m. today.

Newport Harbor 13, Bolsa Grande 9 (9)--Justin Jacobs had a two-run double that gave the Sailors the consolation victory. Newport Harbor plays Orange today at 11 a.m.

In the Orange Lutheran golf tournament:

Huntington Beach wins again--Huntington Beach won its second boys’ golf tournament in as many days, shooting 371 at Willowick and then defeating Brea Olinda in a one-hole playoff.

Andy Anderson shot 71 and Andy Leavelle shot 72 to lead the Oilers, who won the Riverside Tournament of Champions Monday at The Victoria Club in Riverside.

Jake Allanach of Newport Beach was individual champion with a five-under-par 66. Sailor teammate Daniel Kush was runner-up with a 69 and Mike Farrell of Santa Margarita was third at 70.

Brea, the defending champion, was led by Jason Woodrome and Chris Heintz, who each shot 73. Newport Harbor was third, a stroke behind Huntington Beach and Brea.
