Everett and Williams Engage in Shouting Match
Boston’s Carl Everett and Manager Jimy Williams had a shouting match a few hours before the center fielder returned to the Red Sox lineup Saturday, having served his 10-game suspension for bumping an umpire.
Everett was heard screaming with Williams behind closed doors of the manager’s office.
“Well, first and foremost, things stay in house,” Williams said.
Everett also refused comment on the incident.
