Mater Dei Game Is Moved
The football rematch between Mater Dei and Concord De La Salle on Sept. 23 has been moved from Cerritos College to Edison Field, Mater Dei officials said Friday.
The Monarchs originally tried to play the game at Edison Field, but the stadium was booked. Recently, the date became available, so the venue change was made.
The Saturday night game begins at 7 p.m.

The Waves lost, 2-0, to first-place Seattle at Seattle Memorial Stadium and remained in last place in the A-League’s Pacific Division.
The Waves (10-14-1), who were in first place six weeks ago, were outshot by the Sounders, 25-8. Darren Sawatsky scored off an assist from Ali John Utush in the first half and Greg Howes had an unassisted goal in the second for the Sounders.
Peter Van De Ven had eight saves for the Waves.
