* PEPPERDINE (3-1) at GEORGIA (3-3), Fox Sports Net, 10:30 a.m. PST--Pepperdine rides a three-game winning streak into Athens, Ga., and faces a team coached by Jim Harrick that has won three of its last four. Harrick coached Pepperdine from 1979-88 and UCLA from 1988-96. Georgia has good shooters but lacks experience at point guard, which Pepperdine could exploit with pressure defense. The Waves have forced 87 turnovers. D.A. Layne, a three-year starter at shooting guard and the Bulldogs’ leading scorer with 16.2 points a game, will make his second start at the point. Guard Ezra Williams averages 11.7 points and forward Shon Coleman averages 13.2 points and 7.2 rebounds. Pepperdine defeated three Big West Conference teams--UC Santa Barbara, Pacific and Cal State Fullerton--after opening with a loss at Indiana. Pepperdine 6-10 center Cedric Suitt is recovered from a concussion and will make his first start since the opener. Guard Brandon Armstrong averages 17 points and senior forward Kelvin Gibbs averages 15 points and 9.8 rebounds. The Waves made 21 three-point shots in their last two games.
