No. 1 Aliso Niguel 4, Villa Park 0--Raleigh Coakley, Sheena Jarvis, Kaylie Pearson and Jessica Garza had goals for the Wolverines (7-0-1), who scored three second-half goals. Erin Hilburn made 16 saves for Villa Park (2-6).

No. 4 Esperanza 2, Lakewood 1--Trailing at halftime, the Aztecs (4-0-4) tied the score at the 60-minute mark when Erin Clewett scored on a throw-in from Andrea Buckner, then claimed the lead with 10 minutes remaining when Clewett assisted on Adrienne Lindsey’s goal.

No. 7 San Clemente 2, Irvine 0--Brittany Emerson and Sara Davis scored unassisted second-half goals for host San Clemente (4-0-2). Alyson Berger had six saves.

No. 9 Marina 1, Loara 0--Junior Paige Morgan scored off an assist by Heather Kindschi in the 50th minute for Marina (5-0). Caylen Carruthers had two saves for the shutout. Loara is 6-2.

Foothill 1, Fountain Valley 1--Following a scoreless first half, Haley Zitnitzky scored for Fountain Valley (1-1-3) in the 50th minute. Madeline Scinto tied the score two minutes later for Foothill (3-2-2).

Garden Grove 2, Katella 0--Erin Griswold scored in the first half and Michelle Jacot in the second half for host Garden Grove (5-2-1).

Westminster 1, Buena Park 0--Jasmin Ozuna scored with 10 minutes left in the game off an Amy Gilbert assist to win it for host Westminster (2-5-1), which got 11 saves from goalie Shawna Spoor.

In nonleague boys’ soccer:

No. 2 Mater Dei 2, Los Angeles Loyola 0--Eric Rolwing scored in the 46th minute on a header to break a scoreless tie and Ruben Rosales added a goal in the 78th minute for host Mater Dei (7-0-1).

In nonleague girls’ water polo:

Bell Gardens 10, No. 5 Marina 5--Bell Gardens, the two-time defending Southern Section Division III champion, scored five goals in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. Marina (1-3), which trailed by one goal at the end of the half, was led by Erin Wilson with four goals.
