Times NFL writer Robyn Norwood poses--and answers--the burning questions for this week’s games:

1. Question: Is it all over for the Rams?

Answer: Looks like it. If Detroit wasn’t playing for a playoff spot, all bets would be off. But the Lions figure to be too motivated to lose to Chicago, and a Ram victory over New Orleans won’t be enough to clinch a playoff spot.

2. Q: Is there a way Washington Redskin fans can fire Dan Snyder?

A: Low attendance at FedEx Field will be a vote for Snyder to pledge to remove himself from football decisions. All prospective coaches should get it in writing.

3. Q: Can the Indianapolis Colts make the playoffs after all?

A: Quite easily. The Jets probably will lose to Baltimore, and then the Colts just have to beat Minnesota backup Bubby Brister, barring an unexpected appearance by Daunte Culpepper.

4. Q: If you’re going to stop shopping to watch only one game . . .

A: Make it Rams at New Orleans. The updates from the crucial Chicago-Detroit game should add drama--at least early.

5. Q: Has Wade Phillips coached his last game for Buffalo?

A: He ought to have. Not only is quarterback Rob Johnson regressing, but special teams are worse after he fired assistant Bruce DeHaven in the wake of the “Music City Miracle” loss to Tennessee.
