In other tournament games:

No. 7 Woodbridge 88, Loara 18--Kelsi Sousa scored 29 points for Woodbridge (11-0), which led 23-2 after the first quarter and 41-9 at halftime.

Villa Park 45, Mission Viejo 35--An 18-8 fourth-quarter run provided Villa Park the cushion for victory. Lauren Yadon had 19 points for the Spartans (5-6), who play Woodbridge in the next round. Meghan O’Donogue scored 19 for the Diablos, who play Loara.

In the Garden Grove tournament:

Anaheim 52, Saddleback 41--Alicia Gallardo had 15 points and 10 assists to lead Anaheim (7-5) in the first-round game.

Sunny Hills 50, Hacienda Heights Wilson 44 (OT)--The Lancers (6-5) outscored Wilson, 6-0, in overtime. Courtni Goode had 20 points and 14 rebounds and Kristen Fong had 17 points and six assists for Sunny Hills.

In the Marina tournament:

Capistrano Valley 44, Santa Margarita 42--In a tight game, Capistrano Valley took a four-point lead following two free throws by Hallie Stuebe with 10 seconds remaining. Kristen Lynch’s layup beat the final buzzer but wasn’t enough for the Eagles. Lindsay Peloza got in early foul trouble but finished with a game-high 23 points for the Cougars.

El Dorado 56, North Torrance 53--Smadar Bezalel made eight of eight free throws and Melissa Jacob had 14 points and nine assists for El Dorado, which advanced to play Kent Meridian (Wash.) in the semifinals.

In the Santiago tournament:

Santiago 48, Canyon 45--Barbara Sualua had 21 points and 14 rebounds and Evelyn Gomez had 10 points, 12 rebounds, eight steals and seven assists for Santiago (7-4).

Sonora 72, Los Amigos 51--Brandi Davis scored 18 points and Reana Neabors and Amy Minerich had 10 rebounds each for Sonora.

In the Savanna tournament:

Cypress 49, West Torrance 28--Lori Hayashida made five of six three-pointers and Kristy Schmitz had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Centurions (5-5).

Santa Ana 49, Savanna 34-- Mayra Hernandez made seven three-pointers and Liz Crandall had 11 points and 12 rebounds for Santa Ana (4-5).

In the West Coast Jamboree:

Brea Olinda 57, Shingle Springs Ponderosa 39--Jackie Lord scored 15 of her 17 points in the first half for the Ladycats (7-3), the county’s third-ranked team.
