In the Century tournament:

Calvary Chapel 53, Westminster 45--Bryan Filkey had 18 points and eight rebounds for Calvary Chapel (8-3) in the consolation game.

La Habra 80, Saddleback 56--Tristen Gadberry who had missed 10 games due to a back injury, had 25 points, including five three-pointers, in his first game back for La Habra (7-5) in the first round win. Sean McDonough 14 points, all in the first half, and 12 rebounds for La Habra, which will face Los Amigos next.

Los Amigos 67, Santa Ana Valley 51--Peter Vu had 29 points and 10 rebounds and Haber Casillas had 14 points for Los Amigos (6-6) in the first-round game.

In the Chino tournament:

Pacifica 61, El Monte Mountain View 35--Kelly Gurnea scored 19 points for Pacifica (5-5) in the first round.

In the Las Vegas Prep Championships:

Fullerton 59, Henderson (Nev.) Basic 32--Fullerton (10-3) blew open a tight game with a 32-8 run in the second half. David Fells scored 22 points for the Indians in the second-round game.

Las Vegas Western 69, Woodbridge 62--Woodbridge, ranked fourth in Orange County, got as close as three points late in the second half but could get no closer.

Patrick Haddan and Tashaan Forehan-Kelly each scored 15 points for the Warriors and Danny Lambert scored 13 before fouling out.

In the Don Bambauer Christmas Classic at Corte Madera:

Servite 49, Larkspur (Calif.) Drake 46--Sebastian Zielonka scored 12 points for the Friars, who made only 16 of 28 free throws. Servite is 6-6.

In the Long Island Christmas Classic:

Sunny Hills 41, St. John’s Prep (N.Y.) 30--Junior Clay Carmody had 18 points and 10 rebounds for Sunny Hills (10-3) in the first-round win. Adam Castillo had eight assists, five steals and six points for the Lancers.

In the Katella tournament:

Western 80, Bolsa Grande 68 (OT)--Lavell Jones scored 13 of his 36 points in overtime and he also had 20 rebounds for Western. Omar Amaral had 28 points for Bolsa Grande.

In the Long Beach St. Anthony tournament:

Long Beach Millikan 76, St. Margaret’s 44--Kevin Krouse scored 20 points for St. Margaret’s (5-6) in the first round.

In the Myrtle Beach tournament:

Mater Dei 66, Myrtle Beach (S.C.) 55--Jamal Sampson scored 12 of his 18 points in the third quarter as Mater Dei (10-1) turned a 27-25 halftime lead into a 15-point lead after three quarters.

Cedric Bozeman finished with 19 points for Mater Dei in the first round. Myrtle Beach is 8-1.

Mike Strawberry had 12 rebounds and Ricky Porter had 11 points for Mater Dei, which plays Western Hills (Ohio) today.

In the South Lake Seahawk tournament in Reston, Va.:

University 92, Herndon (Va.) 62--Hiro Christoph had 30 points , including seven three-pointers, for the Trojans. University made 16 of 30 three-point shots.
