Woman’s Body Found at Roadside

LAKE LOS ANGELES — The body of a woman, apparently a homicide victim, was discovered by the side of a road Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
A motorist spotted the body about 4 p.m. near the intersection of 250th Street East and Avenue M-2, just west of the San Bernardino County line, said Sgt. John Perez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Lancaster station.
Investigators are treating the case as a homicide, he said.
Detectives have not identified the woman or determined the cause of death, Perez said.
